Etiquette

Yoga Etiquette

  • Please remove your shoes before entering the studio.
  • Please arrive to class 5-10 minutes prior to start time.
  • New students, please arrive 15 minutes early to complete paperwork.
  • Doors are locked once class begins.  The first 10 to 15 minutes of class are designated to meditation.  We ask that everyone come on time and not knock on the door, especially during the introductory meditation.  If you must come late please leave a message with the studio and wait to come in after meditation is complete.
  • Please bring minimal personal belongings and leave them in designated areas.
  • Only water is allowed in the studio no other food or beverage.
  • Please turn off cell phones.
  • Pre-registration on-line is encouraged, but not neccessary.
  • Please register before the start of class with the instructor if you have not done so on-line.
  • Please set up your mat and wait patiently for class to begin.
  • Please make your instructor aware of any injuries or concerns you have or if you are pregnant. He/She can offer modifications to most poses.
  • Please refrain from wearing heavy perfumes of colognes.
  • You may want to refrain from eating right before class.
  • Please wear comfortable clothing.
  • Instructors may provide hands-on adjustments to help guide towards optimal alignment. Please let them know ahead of time if you are not comfortable with this.
  • Please respect and honor your body and listen to what it is telling you. Work at your own pace and level.
  • We ask that no one leave before class is finished.  If you must leave, please leave quietly before Savasana.  Savasana is a meditative time for all in the class and it is unfair to disrupt anyone's meditation.
  • We are a non-judgemental studio where all are welcome and our ego is left at the door. Yoga is about our journey into and out of the posture, not the end result.


Some Things To Be Aware Of...

  • Pre-paid yoga classes are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
  • Gift Certificates and retail items can be purchased on-line. Additional postage/shipping fees will be added to your total purchase price.
  • Gift Certificates can be used for any service or merchandise in the studio. Please note that expired gift certificates will be honored at half its original value.
  • Yoga class passes are non-refundable and non-transferable. Expiration dates are final. Class passes may not be used for series courses, workshops or services outside of yoga.
  • Merchandise from our boutique may be returned/exchanged within 30 days of purchase if unused and undamaged, with receipt. Store credit will be issued. We do not issue refunds. Clearance items are final sale.
  • Cancellations for any/all private sessions must be made 24 hours in advance. If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours notice 50% of the service price will be charged. If no notice is given the entire fee will be charged.
  • Full payment for a workshop will reserve your space. Cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance in order to recieve a full refund. No refunds will be given after 72 hours notice. If the studio should cancel a workshop, a full refund will be issued.
  • The are no make up days for missed classes within a series. Series classes are non-refundable, non-transferrable and cannot be applied to another series.
  • We have mats to use in the center.  Mats must be wiped down after use with cleanser provided by the studio.
  • We have a water cooler at the center.  We highly encourage you to bring a reusable water bottle.  Water is by donation.
  • On-line registration and payment can be done by clicking here.  Please feel free to do this in the studio as well.
  • New students must complete a new student information sheet prior to their first class.
  • We are no longer offering a free first class to new students.  Instead, we are offering one week (7days) of classes for $25.  The seven days starts the first day.  There are no extensions or exceptions.  This offer is only valid on the first visit and is only available once to a client.
